Take flavor and colors for example. One dessert doesn't have to mean one flavor and look. A single batch of cupcakes can offer a rainbow of flavors and tinted icings, from lemon to hazelnut, from pretty pastels to vibrant tangerine and hot pink. Cupcakes are doing for many store-front bakeries what 31 Flavors did for ice-cream parlors.
Cupcake boxes are usually required when you want to transport the cupcakes or gift the cupcakes to your loved ones. Cardboard cupcake boxes are always the best option. They come in a variety of designs to choose from. If budget is an issue, you may choose to buy a simple cupcake box and decorate it on your own and believe me, it's more fun than a task. There are many ways to decorate the boxes. For instance, you may buy a simple white colored cardboard box and paste colored glazed papers on it. Then, you may decorate it further using sparkles and tie it with a colorful ribbon. Be sure to make the knot properly else it will look really awful. You can also add some message to the box like "Happy Birthday".
Cupcakes are great, but many are wondering how this little birthday and school room treat has come to create such a fuss. Not only are cupcake centric eateries springing up across the country, from home-style Magnolia Bakery on the East Coast to Sprinkles in Beverly Hills, but these once quaint cakes are being served everywhere - even at black tie events!
Party guest see a cupcake, and think "portion control. It is a small cupcake, as opposed to a large slice of cake. Therefore, when one is offered a piece of cake, the "small request" can be eliminated. One doesn't have to verbally single themselves out, requesting a "small piece". The "small piece" request always comes off as if you are trying not to indulge. It's a party, everyone is indulging. The expression is very worn out, old and tired. Three cheers for the cupcake.
Cupcakes are easy to eat. They are small enough to eat with your hands, without needing the use of a fork or a spoon. Often they come in their own little ridged paper cup, which helps make them beautiful as well as tasty. The paper cups are often white, but can come in any color-and even sometimes in gold or silver papers for those extra special occasions.
